SALLY WHELAN. AKA - “Sally Phelan.” Irish, Air (3/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Irish painter, musician and antiquary George Petrie (1790-1866) noted this was a “Joyce country tune,” referring to the Irish collector P.W. Joyce who grew up in County Limerick.
