CAILÍN DONN/DHONN [1], AN (The Brown-Haired Girl). See "Brown-Haired Girl (The)" and "Brown Maid (The)." AKA and see "Collendoon," "Banks of Claudy (The)." Irish, Air (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was recorded in the Belfast Northern Star of July 15th, 1792, as having been played by ten Irish harp masters at the last great harp convocation, the Belfast Harp Festival, held that week.
