Tune properties and standard notation
CALE SMITH'S PASTIME. AKA and see "Fair and Forty," "Seven Up." American, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Caoimhin Mac Aoidh remarks that the tune is well known in County Donegal, Ireland, under the alternate title ("Fair and Forty" by which title it appears in several of O'Neill's publications).
