CAT ON A LEASH. AKA and see "Billy Church Memorial Breakdown (The)." Old-Time, Breakdown. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Colorado fiddler Anita Dolen in 1982, during a move from Boulder to Denver, who told Sue Songer (Portland Collection) that the title was inspired by a woman walking a cat on a leash and it struck her as humorous.
