BLUEBERRY JIG. Canadian, American; Jig. D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This tune, one of the 175 or so compositions by Métis fiddler Andy Dejarlis (1914-1975), features 'double tonic' tonality. Dejarlis was called by Don Messer "one of the greatest exponents of old-time music in Canada."
