VESTRI'S HORNPIPE. American, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Can be used as a Clog" (Cole). The title may refer to the English actress, dancer and singer Madame Vestris [1] (1797-1856), who produced comedies and extravaganzas at the elegant little theatre, the Olympic, in the 1830’s.
