AUNT POLLY. American, Air or March Tune (whole time). D Major. DDad tuning (fiddle). AB. "Aunt Polly", a march-like melody, is from the playing of fiddler Earl Collins, who was born and raised in Missouri, removed to Oklahoma in adulthood, and finally resided in southern California. The piece is played with drones throughout, giving it a 'bagpipey' sound.
