CAPTAIN LOCKER. Irish, Reel. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). From the playing of the Reilly family of Drumreilly, County Leitrim. A transcription of the melody is in the Grier Manuscript, a c. 1883 collection of Leitrim tunes collected by fiddler and uilleann piper Stephen Grier. However, the tune is perhaps Scottish publisher Robert Bremner's "Captain Lockhart of the Tartar."
