CATHERINE NOWLAN. Irish, Slow Air (3/4). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Attributed to harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738), although it was not included in Donal O'Sullivan's seminal work on the bard, Carolan: The Life Times and Music of an Irish Harper (1958).
