DANSEZ, CODINNE (Dance, Codinne). Cajun, Two-Step?? USA, Louisiana. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABAB(Vocal)ABAB(Vocal)ABAB(Vocal)AB. Raymond Francois (1990) remarks that this song is rarely played in Cajun dance halls, though it is quite old, probably because of the rhythmically difficult bass line (which he includes in his version).
Source for notated version: Raymond Francois [Francois].
Printed sources: Francois (Yé Yaille, Chère!), 1990; pp. 107-108.
