Back to Delgaty Knell


DELGATY KNELL. Scottish, Jig. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Kirkmichael, Perthshire, fiddler and composer Robert Petrie (1767-1830). The melody was included in his 2nd Collection of Strathspey Reels and Country Dances, 1796, dedicated to his patron and employer, Mrs. Garden of Troup (Banffshire).
