DAN O'KEEFFE'S SLIDE [1] (Sleamhnán Dhónaill Uí Chaoimh). AKA and see "Danny Ab's Slide [1]." Irish, Slide (12/8 time). Ireland, Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border. G Major (Breathnach, Cranitch, Mallinson): D Major (Moylan). Standard tuning. AABB (Cranitch, Mallinson, Moylan): AA'BB' (Breathnach). The tune was recorded Seamus Ennis in 1952, from the playing of Denis Murphy and Julia Clifford, who called it "Danny Ab's," their source for the tune(s).
