DIMEN DRU DEELISH. AKA and see "My Love is Far Away," "Scotch Mary." Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title is a poor Englished version of the Gaelic title that appears variously as "Drimeen Dhu Deelish," "Drimin donn Dilis," "Drimindown," or "Drimin Dhu Dheelish." It is unrelated melodically to the "Drimindown" family of tunes used to Cazden's "Maid on the Shore" and O'Neill's "The Sorrowful Maiden" family of airs.
