Back to Downhill of Life (1) (The)


DOWNHILL OF LIFE, THE (Claonad Na M-beata). Irish, Slow Air (6/8 time). G Major (O'Neill): F Major (Stanford/Petrie). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "The Downhill of Life" was also printed in G.E. Blake's Gentleman's Amusement (Philadelphia, c. 1824, p. 21), albeit in 3/4 time with a different melody.
