EARL OF ELGIN'S FAVORITE. Scottish, Slow Strathspey. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831) in the relatively rare key (for British Isles fiddle tunes) of E Major.
