EVERGREEN LASSES. AKA and see "Evergreen (The)," "Fowling Piece (The)," "Monongahela College" (Pa.), "Mr. Halliday's Compliments to Mrs. Crockett," "Old Temple House Reel," "Templehouse Reel (The)." American, Reel. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Although it appears first published as "Evergreen Lasses" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883), and has an American pedigree (see alternate titles collected by Samual Bayard from Pennsylvania musicians), the reel appears to have provenance in Ireland and Scotland, set in E dorian.
