FANORE SLIDE. Irish, Slide (12/8 time). Ireland, County Clare. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Bill Black (1996) identifies Fanore Strand as "a lovely stretch of white sandy beach in West Clare, north of the Cliffs of Moher."
