Back to Flowers of the Burren (The)


FLOWERS OF THE BURREN. AKA and see "Angry Peeler (The)," "Caffler's Courtship (The)." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig was recorded by the Kilfenora Ceili Band in 1958 on their first LP. Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin (1999) says it is "typical of the Kilfenora dance idiom."
