Back to Foreheid of the Sixereen (Da)
FOREHEID OF THE SIXEREEN, DA. AKA and see "Andrew's Spring." Shetland, Shetland Reel (asymmetrical reel). Shetland, Whalsay (?). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The title, Peter Cooke suggests, is evokative of the bobbing motion of the bow of of the sixereen, a small fishing boat.
