Back to Gaelic League March (The)


GAELIC LEAGUE MARCH, THE. AKA and see "Princess Royal (1)." Irish, March (4/4 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Played by the New York Ceilidh Band, featuring the best of New York's Irish-American musicians of the time (Andy McGann, Paddy Reynolds, Felix Dolan) for the All-Ireland championship in 1960. It is closely related to the set-piece "Rodney's Glory."
