Back to Hector MacDonald's Reel


HECTOR MACDONALD'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Prince Edward Island. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Perlman (1996) suspects the tune was converted from a march on eastern Prince Edward Island. It was named after the source's father, a famous PEI fiddler.
