Back to Heids o Vigon (Da)


HEIDS O VIGON, DA. AKA and see "Atholl Highlanders Farewell to Loch Katrine (The)." Shetland, Yell. Vigon is in the northwest corner of the island of Yell, which has an inlet that is hazardous due to partially submerged reefs there. The tune was composed by a fiddler who was a hand on a ship that was wrecked there.
