Back to Hills of Glenorchie (2) (The)
HILLS OF GLENORCHIE [2], THE. AKA and see "House of Clonelphin (The)." Irish, Single Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was printed by P.W. Joyce (1909) as "The House of Clonelphin."
Source for notated version: Joe Keegan, father of fiddler and pianist Josephine Keegan, and himself a flute player, "from the County Laois side of Partartington" [McGuire & Keegan].
