HOMMAGE À MICHEL ST-LOUIS. French-Canadian, Galope (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'A"A"'B"B"'. Composed by French-Canadian button accordion great Philippe Bruneau [1] (1934-2011) in honor of traditional dancer Michel Saint-Louis, of Montreal, Quebec. Saint-Louis was a danser with the ensemble Feux-Follets in the 1960's, for whom Bruneau was the accompanist for many years.
