Back to Independent Hornpipe (The)


INDEPENDENT HORNPIPE, THE. AKA and see "Damhsa," "Vendome." AKA - "The Independent." Irish, Hornpipe. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears as "Vendome (The)" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (published 1883).
