Back to Jackson's Maid at the Fair (2)


JACKSON'S MAID AT THE FAIR [2]. AKA and see "Skylark (3) (The)." Irish. The tune appears as "The Skylark" in O'Neill's Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody (1922). Both the Thomas Cox and Patrick Gunn manuscripts give the melody as "Jackson's Maid at the Fair."
