Back to Mrs. Forbes of Boharm’s Strathspey


MRS. FORBES OF BOHARM'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Moyra Cowie (The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999), identifies Boharm House (Mulben) as close to Achlunchart house, not far from the remains of the 13th century castle of Bucharin.
