Back to Hackberry Hop


HACKBERRY HOP. Cajun, Two-Step. USA, La. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is a version of "Hip et Taiaud." Hackberry is a small town near Lake Charles, La. Recorded by fiddler Leo Soileau's (1904-1980) Three Aces in 1934.
