CARROWCASTLE LASSES, THE. AKA and see "George White's Fancy/George White's Favorite," "Lass of Carrowcastle (2) (The)." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is almost always referred to as "George White's," with "Carrowcastle Lasses" deriving from the name on the 1950's recording of the reel by the Kincora Céilí Band (led by fiddler Kathleen Gardiner Harrington), who called it "Lasses of Carrowcastle."
