Back to Forlorn Stranger


FORLORN STRANGER, THE (An Coigreac Treigte). Irish, Slow Air (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Cazden (et al, 1982) points out the similarity of this tune with his Catskill Mountain (New York) collected "Wild Irish Boy (The)." See also the similar "I'm a Poor Stranger and Far from My Own" from Joyce's Old Irish Folk Music and Songs (1909).
