HAPPY FRANK. Scottish, Hornpipe. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by the great Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927), in honor of Frank Gilruth (1853-1915), a teacher of commerce at Dumfries Academy from 1882 until his death; he was born at Sanquhar, Gartly, Aberdeenshire.
