Back to High Road to Dublin (1) (The)
HIGH ROAD TO DUBLIN [1], THE. AKA and see "Boy in the Basket (The)," "Skipper's Wedding (The)," "Way to Dublin (The)." Irish, Slip Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. An almost identical setting is in Joyce (1909) under the title "The Way to Dublin." Uilleann piper and Anglican cleric James Goodman (ii, p. 173, mid-19th century) gives it as "Boy in the Basket (The)" in his manuscript collection.
