Back to Hills of Cape Mabou
HILLS OF CAPE MABOU (Cnuic Rudha Mhabou). AKA and see "Antony Murray's Reel," "Anthony Murray's Reel," "Lord Murray's Strathspey." Scottish, Canadian; Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. AEae tuning (fiddle). AB. A version of Alexander "King" McGlashan's "Ant(h)ony Murray's Reel," published 1780. A very popular strathspey among Cape Breton fiddlers, frequently recorded (usually as "Anthony Murray's" or "Hills of Cape Mabou").
