JACK AND HIS TROUSERS (ON). AKA and see "Cuckoo's Nest (4) (The)," "Cuckoo's Hornpipe," "Jacky Tar," "Jack A Tar," "Come in Jolly Tar with your Trousers On." Scottish, Hornpipe. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The melody appears in the Gillespie Manuscript of Perth (1768).
