JOYOUS WALTZ. AKA - "Valse Joyeuse (La)." French-Canadian, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BCD. Composed by Wellie or Willy Ringuette [1], a fiddler and composer who was born in Franklin, New Hampshire in 1898, and died in Trois-Rivières, Quèbec in 1969. Ringuette recorded his waltz for both the Columbia and Starr lables in the 1930's.
