It was included in his 2nd Collection of Strathspey Reels and Country Dances (1796, p. 4), a volume dedicated to his patron and employer, Mrs. Garden of Troup. Mr. Garden Junr. was her son, whose father was Frances Garden-Campbell, 6th of Troup and Glenlyon--there were four 'Francis Garden-Campbells of Troup' in succession.
