Back to Mr. MacDonald of Staffa


MR. MACDONALD OF STAFFA'S REEL. Scottish, Reel. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Daniel McLaren, appearing in his collection of 1794. McLaren was a native of Taymouth, Perthshire, and became a musician in Edinburgh, though little else is known of him. See also his companion "Mr. MacDonald of Staffa's Strathspey."
