Back to Fiddle Hill Jig
FIDDLE HILL JIG. American, Jig. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by Ralph Page (1903-1985, New Hampshire), the "dean of the contra dance callers," and a seminal figure in New England traditional dance and music for 40 years (see www.izaak.unh.edu/nhltmd/pagehome.htm). It first appears in Page's monthly periodical Northern Junket, vol. 9, No. 1, 1967.
