INDIAN AND THE WOODHEN. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Campbell sang this ditty to the melody:
The Indian and the woodhen, around and around;
The Indian hit the woodhen, flat against the ground.
No relation to the similarly titled "Indian Ate the Woodchuck."
