HIBERNIAN JIG (1) (The), THE (An Port Gaedealac). AKA - "Clan March (A)," "Irish Jigg (An)." AKA and see "Cairngorum Mountain (1)," "Highlander's Lament." Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Neill (1922) notes: "Its emphatic swing and antique cadences proclaim this spirited strain a march, altho as "The Hibernian Jig" it was included in O"Neill's Dance Music of Ireland (1907), but in a much lower key."
