DANCING THE BABY (Ag Rinnce An Leanb). Irish, Polka. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. O'Neill obtained this tune from a roll of manuscript music originally owned by an O'Mahony, a maternal relative of his, who lived in Dunmanway, County Cork. He thinks the staccata passages reminiscent of jockeying a child on a parent's knees.
