HOMMAGE À LA BARDASSE. French-Canadian, Jig. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'A"CC'A"'A""B"B"'A""'C"C"'. Composed by French-Canadian button accordion great Philippe Bruneau in honor of the Montreal based group La Bardasse (active 1976 to the mid-1980's). Bardasser is a French verb derived from bardas. In Québec, the word generally means "To make a ruckus, to be very active and to make noise".
