A U HINNY BURD. AKA ‑ "A.U.A," "Aw You Hinny Bird," "Ah You Ah." English, Air (2/4 time). England, Northumberland. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The title appears (as "A U A") in Henry Robson's list of popular Northumbrian song and dance tunes ("The Northern Minstrel's Budget"), which he published c. 1800. The tune was entered into the c. 1812 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician John Bell [1] (1783-1864).
