Back to Durene Hornpipe
DURENE HORNPIPE. Old-Time, Fiddle Tune. The title, perhaps misheard for "Durang's Hornpipe," appears in a list of traditional Ozark Mountain fiddle tunes compiled by musicologist/folklorist Vance Randolph, published in 1954.
