Back to Captain Commin's Ramble
CAPTAIN COMMIN'S RAMBLE. English, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. As "Capt. Cummin's Ramble" the tune appears in the 1776 music manuscript copybook of Revolutionary War fifer William Morris, inscribed "William Morris, First Regament [sic] Hunterdon" (County, New Jersey).
