BOB SHEAR HARVEST. AKA – "Bob Sheer Harvest." English, Scottish; Old/Triple Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. F Major. Standard tuning. AABB. A once-popular triple hornpipe. The title is a variation of "Rob Shear'd in Herst," a song in the Scots Musical Museum (vol. 6, 1803, No. 543) that poet Robert Burns reworked from an older song (it is set to a different tune in the SMM).
