Back to Forester (The)
FORESTER, THE. English, Hornpipe and Morris Dance Tune (4/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning. ABB. A patently hybrid tune which has the first strain of "Turkey in the Straw" as its first half while the second strain is the second of "College Hornpipe." Morris versions from the villages of Bampton and Field Town (Leafield), Oxfordshire, England.
