CLACH NA CUDDIN/CUDAIN {Clachnacudainn} [1] (Cross of Inverness). AKA - "Rocking Stone of Inverness (The)." AKA and see "Cross of Inverness." Scottish, Strathspey. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Athole, Honeyman, Hunter, Skinner): AABB' (Kerr, Martin). MacDonald notes that the Clach na Cudain translates as "The Key stone of Inverness," sometimes called 'the rocking stone of Inverness', referring to a foundation stone in the town of Inverness, located near the famous cross.
