GWENITH GWYN. AKA - "Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn" (Watching the White Wheat). Welsh, Air (3/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. One of the Welsh tunes Walker (1924) cites as having "artistic strength of a high order"--"beautiful", he says. "Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn:" is an 18th century tragic love song set to the air.
