Back to John Cumine Esqr. of Auchry’s Strathspey
JOHN CUMINE ESQ. OF AUCHREY'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Christie (c. 1778-1849) of Cuminestown, Monquhitter, in Aberdeenshire, "who was a postman, dancing master, and a collector who saved many melodies" (Alburger).
